Therefore, during the night it is consumed carbohydrates that are in the liver. Now back to the glycogen stored in muscle cells. This “muscle” glycogen can only be used by muscle cells. Therefore, if during sleep you do not run 10-kilometer cross, it is your night “hunger strike” in no way reduces the amount of muscle glycogen. And this is reasonable, since otherwise in the morning you will have absolutely no strength, if not for that muscle glycogen.
